Industrial use 
1. Dye industry: As the main raw material for sulfide dyes (such as cyanide and cyanide blue), it is also used in the synthesis of dye intermediates.
2. Print and dye industry: used as an additive to sulphide dyes, helping the dyes dissolve and attach to the fibers.
3. The leather industry: used for hair removal and softening of raw skin, removing hair and impurities from leather through hydrolysis.
4. Paper industry: As a paper cooking agent, it helps break down lignin in wood and improves pulp quality.
5. Metallurgy and mining: used for ore floating, separating metal sulphide minerals such as copper, lead, and zinc.
6. Other: also used for the production of sodium thiosulfate, sodium polysulfide, as well as the textile industry denitrification treatment, waste water treatment (removal of heavy metal ions).
